This is a photo taken by RWB Tommy Blackwood of Br Tom Lewis presenting the 129 year old Past Master's Jewel of millionaire philanthropist WB Andrew Buist Murray, PM (1880) of Landmark Lodge #76 Charleston, SC to RWB Ed Parent representing Landmark Lodge No. 76 as MWB Barry A Rickman MW Grand Master of South Carolina looks on. The photograph was taken during an official visit of the Grand Master to Mariner Lodge No.2 Charleston, SC on 22June09 where Br Lewis was presiding over a Master Mason Degree. The Jewel was discovered and rescued from oblivion by the efforts of State Historian for the Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies Br Don Burbidge 33° who is a member and also lodge historian of Union-Kilwinning Lodge #4 Charleston, SC, who was unable to be present, but without whose efforts the jewel would now be lost to Masonry.
