~ Website Rules for South Carolina Lodges ~

By Edict issued May 12, 2007 by Most Worshipful Brother Gerald L. Carver, Grand Master.

1)  Copies of all Districts, Lodges, or other Masonic websites should be mailed into the Grand Lodge Offices and will be maintained on file in the Grand Secretary's office.

2)  Websites must be approved by the Grand Master before they go active.

3)  All additions, changes, or links to the website of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons must be approved in advance by the Grand Master.

4) A copy of all changes with the Grand Master's approval will be maintained on file in the Grand Secretary's office.

5) The Webmaster must never give his password to any other person because he will be held accountable for everything on the website.

6) Brothers must use caution when communicating with other Masonic websites or unknown persons claiming to be Masons to assure that you do not communicate inappropriately with one who may be a clandestine Mason or a non-Mason which could cause a violation of a Brother's obligations and result in un-Masonic conduct.
