Greetings from the Grand East, Brothers. As the Fall season arrives, I, for one, appreciate the break from the summer heat. Our brothers in the Southeast faced significant challenges in September due to Hurricane Helene, which struck South Carolina and the surrounding states, causing considerable hardship. The brothers of South Carolina have worked tirelessly to support one another and those in nearby areas, providing both physical and monetary assistance. They gathered essential supplies and transported them to Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Teams of brothers have traveled to the hardest-hit regions, offering hot meals and support to families in need. I am immensely proud to call them my brothers. As we approach the final months of 2024, Thanksgiving and Christmas are on the horizon. We have so much to be thankful for this year: the blessings we have shared, our families, and the fellowship within our Masonic fraternity. I encourage you to take the time to celebrate the holiday season with your loved ones and express your appreciation for them. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your support, kind words, calls, cards, and prayers. Each gesture means more than I can express, so thank you once again. Our inspirational meetings this year have been exceptional, and I appreciate your support in attending them. As we move into the New Year, we will commence our instructional meetings. These meetings have been thoughtfully planned, and you will receive valuable guidance to help you fulfill the duties of your office. Dates for these meetings will be provided by your District Deputy, Masonic Education Committeeman, and will also be available on the Grand Lodge website calendar. I hope you will show your support and attend these instructional meetings, as I look forward to being with you across the state.

Brothers, thank you for all that you do. Keep up the great work. Toni, Macy, and I would like to wish each of you and your families a very special Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year! “Our Best Is The Least We Owe Each Other”

Fraternally Yours,
Steven D. Hames Grand Master
