Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina. Please feel

This past April 2009 we celebrated our 272nd
Annual Communication at Omar Shrine Center in the seaside city of
Mount Pleasant. Freemasonry of South Carolina is the home of Dr.
Albert G. Mackey, the renown author of many Masonic books and
publications; Rev. Frederick Dalcho, one of the first members of The
Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and its second
Sovereign Grand Commander; and Joel R. Poinsett, for whom the
beautiful Christmas Poinsettia is named.
